Can you believe that it is already October – time to stock up on easy, warm desserts that are fun for the whole family to make and enjoy! I decided to make this s’mores inspired recipe that involves 4 simple ingredients and only takes less than 10 minutes to make. It is delicious and turns the classic marshmallow, chocolate, marshmallow combo into an easy s’mores cake!
What you will need:
- Hershey’s® Chocolate Syrup
- 1 cup of Marshmallows or Marshmallow Fluff
- 2 graham crackers
- Sara Lee® Double Chocolate Pound Cake Slices
- Small mason jar
Cut up your Sara Lee pound cake into cubes. You can buy this pound cake in the freezer section at your local grocery store (I got it at Publix). I love Sara Lee pound cake slices because they have all the deliciouses of homemade pound cake with none of the time or work, not to mention they stay good for a super long time, so I like to keep them in the fridge for a quick treat.
Place a thin layer of chocolate pound cake at the bottom of your mason jar.
Add a layer or marshmallows OR marshmallow fluff (I tried both and they were equally delicious).
Add layer of crushed graham cracker.
Add layer of Hershey’s Chocolate syrup and repeat all layers until your jar is full!
Before serving you can heat them up in the oven for about 5-10 minutes (with the lid off). You will be left with warm gooey delicious s’mores in a jar (all the deliciousness with none of the mess). These are great because you can decide if you want to serve them right away or put them in the fridge for later.
